See you on Sunday afternoon at the sports village at 5.30 pm.
Welcome, installation. Welcome drink and, before dinner, presentation of the week.

During your stay

Monday: La Palud on Verdon- Chalet de la Maline.
Through the paths of the Bois d'Aire we will reach the Dent d'Aire viewpoint, the Jas d'Aire, the slopes of Collet Barris and its viewpoint.

A discreet route will take us to the Chemin de la Ferme de la Maline.
After crossing the small pass, we dominate the Grand Canyon of Verdon to descend to the Maline farm and reach the Maline chalet on the balcony, located at the edge of the gorges.

5 hours of walking. 600m of altitude difference.

Tuesday: Chalet de la Maline -Rougon by the Blanc/Martel trail.
Descent to the Verdon located 400m below, to follow its course on the right bank for 15 km.
In the process, vires, balms, the stairs of the Brèche Imbert which cross the Mescla spur marking the Artuby-Verdon confluence.
From high positions, the trail allows you to have a view of the emerald waters that characterize the Verdon.
Depending on the flow and the decision of the park, a swim is possible.
Two tunnels require lighting to cross the Samson corridor.
Beautiful view of the river from La Baume aux Pigeons from the very inside of the second tunnel.
Ascend to the magnificent hilltop village of Rougon.
6 hours of walking, 700m of altitude difference.

Wednesday: Rougon-Trigance.
From the Alpes de Haute Provence to the Var by crossing the magnificent Romanesque bridge in Tusset.
The path winds through beech and pine forests to lead us to the natural viewpoint of Rancoumas.
A bird's eye view of the Verdon which flows 400m below and the cliff bar of Escalès, kingdom of climbers, a few griffon vultures frequent these places.
By tracks and trails bypassing the Breis mountain we will reach the village of Trigance dominated by its medieval castle.
5 hours of walking, 550m of altitude difference.
Night and meal taken at the cottage.

Thursday: Trigance -Rougon
Departure from Trigance by a magnificent path crossing the eastern slope of the summit of Breis to join a beautiful course on the Casseyère ridge.
Our destination is in sight but the deep Verdon Gorge separates us from it.
We begin the descent to the Carajuan bridge for a well-deserved swim.
A regular path climbs through the pine forest to lead to the feeding area for griffon vultures, often present in the area.
A track will take us to the village of Rougon and its comfortable cottage.
6 hours of walking, 600m of altitude difference.
Night and meal taken at the cottage.

Friday: Rougon- La Palud sur Verdon
We will leave Rougon by the long-distance hiking trail to gradually descend to the Baou valley and the eponymous stream. Through the Bois de Pinet and its multiple paths in the pine forests we return to the village of La Palud sur Verdon and the UCPA center.


The course of this program is indicative.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s).
It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.

Last day

On Saturday, free stroll in the village, or by car on the ridges of the Grand Canyon.
End of the stay and departure of the UCPA bus at 10:00am, for Aix-en-Provence TGV station in the morning for arrival at 12:30.
