Coming from the streets, mainly from the United States, it is a unique means of expression that uses the body as a messenger. You will understand the proposed musical universe, or even make music with your hands and feet! It is a real energy expenditure in perspective thanks to the power of the movements that make up this dance ensemble.

À PROPOS DE L'ACTIVITÉ

The world and hip hop culture speak to you and you want to be a part of it. Practicing Hip Hop dance at UCPA is the guarantee of being able to take part in a multitude of activities, as this culture is so rich. With its four main branches, Jiing, rap, graffiti and dance, hip hop culture is above all peace, love, cohesion and pleasure, its 4 leitmotifs.
You can just as easily explore standing dances (locking, popping, hype...) and thus develop your coordination, breakdancing (floor dances, acrobatics...) to improve your support and flexibility, as well as Newstyle for your sense of rhythm and style. Supervised collective dance sessions will be a good way to combine energy expenditure, artistic expression and urban culture while sharing group emotions.

Matériel fourni

Session organized in a dance hall, with or without a mirror, or in the open air in vacation centers.

Type de session

Sessions can last from 45 minutes to 1 hour. A collective warm-up is planned at the beginning of the session, followed by repetitions of the basic movements and finally, the learning of choreography. A return to calm is planned at the end of each session with stretching.

Securité

UCPA Dance activities are carefully supervised, and always include a warm-up and a return to calm. The level depends on the student's level and all movements are explained and corrected by the teacher. Tips on hydration, positioning, and stretching are also given to participants.

Equipement personnel

Choose clothes that are comfortable and allow you to move freely. Be sure to wear good, non-slip sneakers.
