During your stay
D2: In the heart of the ocean
In the morning, departure by canoe to La Preneuse to discover the seabed by snorkeling.
At the end of the afternoon stand up paddle to the river to watch the sunset.

During the day you will have time to stroll in the village of Tamarin, or to enjoy the beach or the pool.
Day 3: Port Louis the capital.
Departure at 9 am by minivan to arrive an hour later in Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius. Stroll to the market and immerse yourself in this lively city, visit the Citadel and China Town.
Lunch: street food! Mauritius is full of different flavors and influences from around the world. Grab some cash in Mauritian Rupees to be able to please your taste buds! If you do not want to taste Mauritian flavors in Port Louis, you can order your lunch to take away the day before before 6 pm.
A visit to the grapefruit garden is not planned, as the luxuriant nature is better highlighted during hikes.
Day 4: Between sea and land
Wake up at dawn for a kayak trip in Tamarin Bay, if you are lucky you will encounter dolphins. The walk lasts about 2 hours and 2 hours and a half. A local breakfast is served by kayak and you can enjoy a second breakfast when you return to the hotel around 9 am!
For the rest of the day you go on an excursion to the Black River Gorges Natural Park where you may be able to meet one of the 9 species of animals present among 150 varieties of plants. At the end of the hike and its magnificent panoramas you can refresh yourself in the river...
Day 5: Piton Canoe
Early morning departure for a hike in the lush Mauritian forest
Superb ascent of Piton Canot; a spectacular view for about 1 hour of ascent! The panorama is majestic with a breathtaking view of the lagoon of Ile aux Bénitiers, Le Morne and the Tamarin Turret!
This hike can be muddy, bring good hiking shoes! Bring 1.5 liters of water in a backpack, you will sometimes need your hands to ride “in monkey style”.
It is a moderately easy hike despite the terrain that is sometimes a bit technical because it is natural and will require the help of your hands! Don't worry, your pink guides will accompany you at your own pace and will know how to motivate you!
Day 6: Free day.
Ile aux Cerfs catamaran trip option (for a fee)
Day 7: Chamarel and Grand Bassin
Departure For a cool day where the van takes you from site to site. The Hindu temple and the sacred lake are visited, you will have to remember to cover your shoulders in order to respect this highly spiritual place. Lunch will be taken from the hotel and is done in picnic mode. We stop to see the Chamarel waterfall and the Terres de 7 Couleurs! Chamarel's views are magnificent and worth a short stop to immortalize these colors!

You will stay in comfortable rooms for two or three people, with air conditioning, private bathroom, wifi and each room has small furnished terraces overlooking the garden or the mountain. The hotel service ensures the daily cleaning of the rooms and the towels and sheets are changed every week.

No vaccination is mandatory in Mauritius. However, we recommend that you be up to date with the following vaccinations: diphtheria, tetanus, polio, typhoid fever, hepatitis A and B.
Provide personal protection against mosquito bites.
Sun: don't forget to protect your skin from the sun's rays. Keep a T-shirt, short or long sleeves, because you would get sunburned without realizing it.
The UCPA provides for a collective pharmacy, however we recommend that you bring your personal medication and a roll of elastoplast to protect your feet from blisters. Don't forget sunscreen.
