A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE TRIP

Sport' Camp/
This 14-day equestrian stay allows your child to learn how to horse riding between the Odet and the Breton forest in Quimper in Finistère. Steps, trot, gallop, show jumping, walks, horse care are on the program. Each week your child will practice 9 horseback riding and hippology sessions (knowledge of horse behavior) while discovering the seaside town of Bénodet with swimming in the sea.
On the program: 9 horseback riding sessions including 1 of hippology (knowledge of horse behavior) + discovery of the seaside town of Bénodet with swimming in the sea + activities, evenings, big games or manual and creative workshops. The “Caval'Camp” concept offers immersive stays in a UCPA equestrian center, inspired by the nomadic world of the Berbers.
It is an opportunity to live out your passion as close as possible to horses and ponies for a week, to take care of them and to create a real relationship with them, on foot or mounted. Because Caval'Camp stays are designed with the aim of providing a real equestrian vacation, they do not allow the passage of federal gallop.

He observes the behavior of the horse or pony by preparing it delicately. The instructor reminds him of all the safety rules. Saddling, bridging, halting, appreciating distances, positioning yourself in front of the horse are on the agenda today.
At the end of the session, your child will learn how to balance by step, how to steer on wide curves and how to manage speed. The more experienced ones will trot at a pace.

Day 3: Today your child will discover how to learn how to trot quickly, how to gallop in aerobatics or through team games.
Bust straightening, lowering your leg and unhooking to learn to sit up are also covered by the instructor.
For the more experienced, they will discover gallop and start jumping. They will also learn to maintain a pace and change it at will.

For intermediate and advanced levels, he will perfect his balance and better manage his pony/horse.

Day 5: Your child learns to manage their efforts and find tips for creating a quality relationship with their pony/horse. The most experienced will improve at the obstacle and more particularly in the sequence of jumps.

Day 6: For the last day of riding, the instructor will give your child individualized advice in order to make the most of his riding time. The objective is to have fun and to be in action throughout the session.

Your child will ride a pony/horse every day, morning and/or afternoon, with the aim of maintaining your strength and motivation throughout the week through well-placed breaks, allowing him to have the necessary feedback on his daily practice.
