This one-week horseback riding trip 1 hour from Paris is intended for 11-13 year olds who already have their first gallop.
It offers: 10 horseback riding sessions focused on the technique, maintenance and care of horses + activities, evenings, big games or manual and creative workshops. An educational and rewarding experience that combines outdoor fun with the development of technical riding skills and new encounters.
For an exciting immersion in the equestrian world! This program takes place with full board accommodation. It also exists in a package without accommodation, including only lunch.

Day of arrival

Day 1:
Reception on Sundays between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
In the afternoon, entertainment, discovery of the place to live, the program of the week.

Day 2:
In the morning and in the afternoon, horseback riding sessions. Teaching balance, steer over wide curves and speed management.

Day 3:
In the morning and in the afternoon, horseback riding sessions. Discovery of the gentle trot and the gallop in aerobatics.
Teaching how to straighten your chest, lower your leg and how to stall to learn how to sit up, as well as how to change your pace at will. For the more experienced, small jumps. Team games.
End of the afternoon, manual activities.
In the evening, lively vigil.

Day 4:
In the morning and in the afternoon, horseback riding sessions. Lower joint flexibility and knee opening exercises to learn how to balance. For intermediate and advanced levels, improving balance and steering on horseback.
End of the afternoon, entertainment.
In the evening, lively vigil.

Day 5:
In the morning and in the afternoon, horseback riding sessions. Advice on managing efforts and creating a quality relationship with your pony/horse. For the more experienced, learn the sequence of obstacle jumps.
End of the afternoon, entertainment.
In the evening, lively vigil.

Day 6:
In the morning and in the afternoon, horseback riding sessions with individual advice to confirm your achievements of the week.
Late afternoon, boom.
In the evening, lively vigil.

Last day

Day 7:
Luggage and room storage, then entertainment.
End of stay on Saturday between 11:00 and 12:00.

Riders in the middle of a leisure island

The equestrian center is located in the heart of the leisure island of Etampes, in a natural park of 145 hectares of forest, marshes and a lake allow exceptional walks. The equipment is: - 2 careers - 1 merry-go-round - 1 spring garden - 145 hectares of promenade 45 km from Paris and Melun, 50 km from Versailles and 70 km from Orleans.

Accommodation in Etampes Sports Village

Rooms for 4 to 6 people with private bathrooms and showers.
Equipment provided: pillow, sheet and pillowcase. Remember to bring your duvet.

Equipment required for the practice of horseback riding:
- 1 pair of high boots or mini boots with mini-caps. (avoid leather soles)
- Bomb/helmet and personal grooming equipment if desired, otherwise ready at the equestrian center.
- Comfortable and adequate sportswear: 2 long and flexible pants ideally “horse pants” .Jeans should be avoided because of the risk of knee injuries.
- Elastics for long hair
- Eyewear cord
- K-Way/Wind
- Wearing a back protector is recommended during obstacle sessions (depending on level).

We supervise exclusively with our own equipment, so the activities do not require special sports equipment.
