During your stay

Day 2:
Your child gets to know your UCPA instructor and the rest of the group. After a short warm-up to get to know each other better, beginners will discover boards specially adapted to discover the activity.
...
Once put in the water, the boards adapted to your level allow it to be stable on your supports. He will be pleasantly surprised by his speed at first sight with this very handy equipment. We are far from the difficulties experienced by the old generations of boards.
After a good lunch, he will leave for his first catamaran session. Beginners leave for a complete boat briefing.
For the initiated, they will start rigging your boat independently before a quick check by the instructor and then he will take his first steps to discover this wonderful navigation area.

Day 3:
For his 2nd catamaran session, your child will leave with his partner to learn how to properly adjust his sail and fully optimize wind traction. He will refine the management of his boat by challenging himself on imposed courses. From one buoy to another, you have to stay the course while learning the changes of direction. Bank transfers and gybes no longer hold any secrets for him.
In the afternoon, in windsurfing, beginners will learn to feel the force of the wind while handling the sail. The aim is to find the right position of the body, the mast and the sail in order to seek a smooth and constant movement. He will learn to change direction thanks to the superb demonstrations of edge transfers from his UCPA instructor.
For the more experienced, they will improve their technique thanks to the individualized advice of their instructor.

Day 4:
On Wednesday, a half-day break is organized to rest: sleep in, relaxing activities, games or walks will be offered. And of course, strong moments and conviviality to share in a summer camp

Day 5:
Beginners will learn how to position themselves properly to keep the boat balanced. He will discover the trapeze to counter the sales force. Will your child put the right balance between optimal strength and salt removal?
The most experienced will discuss shore boat settings and dynamic navigation settings to improve and understand your performance.
In the afternoon, his UCPA instructor is also on his windsurf board! One instruction for everyone.
We ride, we ride, we ride as much as possible... The objective is to practice to progress.
This afternoon, he will feel all the emotions: joy, pride, disappointment, fatigue and courage...
Of course his instructor is present to give him all the tips to gain speed on his board.

Day 6:
Last catamaran session and for the most seasoned, children will have the opportunity to prepare a fleet navigation plan with their instructor, and or to navigate independently in an area delimited by their instructor.
After lunch, he is going to get on his windsurf board for the last time. The newbies at the beginning of the week have become insiders. Your child will gain more and more speed but the muscles in his arms and legs no longer allow him to absorb the wind's pull.
His instructor will offer him a thinner float but above all a harness to hang on to the wishbone.
For experts, the instructor offers him a more freestyle session and gives him all the advice to perform or improve his tricks, loops and possibly rotations.

Last day

Day 7:
Luggage preparation and room storage. Latest games and moments of conviviality.
End of the stay on Saturday between 10 am and 12 pm.

...
The course of this program is indicative.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s). It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.
