During your stay
Day 2:
You get to know your UCPA instructor and the rest of the group. After a short warm-up to get to know each other better, beginners will discover boards specially adapted to discover the activity.
You get to know your UCPA instructor and the rest of the group. After a short warm-up to get to know each other better, beginners will discover boards specially adapted to discover the activity.
Once put in the water, the boards allow you to be stable on your supports. You will be surprised by how fast you can shoot at first sight with this very handy equipment. We are far from the difficulties experienced by the old generations of boards.
For the more experienced, you will regain your sensations by alternating tacks and gybes. For the most experts you will benefit from individual advice to do your first jibes.
After a good lunch, you leave for your catamaran session. Beginners leave for a complete boat briefing.
For the initiated, you start rigging your boat independently before a quick check by the instructor and then you will take your first steps to discover this wonderful navigation area.
Day 3:
For your 2nd catamaran session, you leave with your partner to learn how to properly adjust your sail and fully optimize wind traction. You refine the control of your boat by challenging yourself on imposed courses. From one buoy to another, you have to stay the course while learning the changes of direction. Bank transfers and gybes no longer hold any secrets for you.
In the afternoon, in Windsurf, beginners will learn to feel the force of the wind while handling the sail. The aim is to find the right position of the body, the mast and the sail in order to seek a smooth and constant movement. You will learn to change direction thanks to the superb demonstrations of edge transfers from your UCPA instructor.
For the more experienced, you will improve your technique thanks to the individualized advice of your instructor. Today it is the waterstart and beachstart technique on the program.
Day 4:
After a break in the morning, you will take advantage of this day to swim in the sea, participate in big beach games or take advantage of the aquatic area.
Day 5:
Beginners will learn how to position themselves properly to keep the boat balanced. You will discover the trapeze to counter the sales force. Will you put the right balance between optimal strength and salting?
The most experienced will discuss shore boat settings and dynamic navigation settings to improve and understand your performance.
In the afternoon, your UCPA instructor is also on his windsurf board! One instruction for everyone.
We ride, we ride, we ride as much as possible... The objective is to practice to progress.
This afternoon, you will feel all the emotions: joy, pride, disappointment, fatigue and courage...
Of course your instructor is there to give you all the tips to gain speed on your board.
Day 6:
Last catamaran session and for the most experienced, you will have the opportunity to prepare a fleet navigation plan with your instructor, and or to navigate independently in an area delimited by your instructor.
You can choose your settings, your sail plan and your sailing area independently. You are able to take a person on board safely.
Beginners, on the other hand, will perfect their edges, their changes of direction and their positions on the boat to be able to move independently in a supervised navigation area (corresponding to the level for renting a boat).
After lunch, you're going to get on your windsurf board for the last time.nNewbies at the beginning of the week have become insiders. You gain more and more speed but the muscles in your arms and legs can no longer absorb wind traction.
Your instructor will offer you a thinner float but above all a harness to hang you on the wishbone.
For experts, the instructor offers you a more freestyle session and gives you all the advice to perform or perfect your tricks, loops and possibly rotations.
