This one-week trip 1 hour from Paris is intended for riders aged 11 to 17, whether beginners or experienced.
On the program: 10 riding sessions on different horses/ponies. Apart from mounted work, hippology lessons, equestrian games, introduction to aerobatics, horse care, participation in the life of the equestrian center. + activities, evenings, big games or manual and creative workshops.
Possibility of passing the Federal Galops according to the level acquired (FFE license of the current year mandatory). This program takes place with full board accommodation. It also exists in a package without accommodation, including only lunch.

Day of arrival

Day 1:
Reception on Sundays between 16:00 and 17:30.
Installation in the rooms. Meeting between the young people and the animation team.

During your stay

Day 2:
In the morning and in the afternoon, horseback riding sessions.
Discover the equestrian center and choose the horse according to the level.

Observation of the horse's behavior. Reminder of safety rules and the basics of horseback riding: saddle, bridle, put on the halter, appreciate the distances, position yourself in relation to the horse... At the end of the session, learn how to balance by step, how to steer on wide curves and how to manage speed. Rhythm trot for the most experienced.
In the evening, lively vigil.

Day 3:
In the morning and in the afternoon, horseback riding sessions.
Teaching how to trot freely, how to canter, how to straighten your chest, how to lower your leg and how to stall to learn how to sit up. Team games. For the more experienced, learn small jumps, gallop and change of pace at will.

Day 4:
In the morning and in the afternoon, horseback riding sessions.
Exercises on the flexibility of the lower joints and the opening of the knee to learn to balance. For intermediate and advanced levels, improving balance and steering on horseback.

Day 5:
In the morning and in the afternoon, horseback riding sessions.
Learning how to manage efforts and tips for creating a quality relationship with your horse. For the most experienced, improvement in obstacle courses and more particularly in the sequence of jumps.

Day 6:
In the morning and in the afternoon, horseback riding sessions.
Individual advice from the instructor in order to make the most of his riding time. Objectives: have fun and be in action throughout the session.

Last day

Day 7:
Luggage preparation and room storage.

End of the stay on Saturday between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Riders in the middle of nature

In the Fontainebleau forest, 60 km south of Paris, the Bois-le-Roi equestrian center offers 75 hectares of green spaces, a lake and a range of activities in a unique environment surrounded by nature. Dressage, show jumping, cross country, walks and sports courses are in particular offered in the center's facilities. These include 2 careers, 3 rides, a cross course, a pony club, a stable of 40 trained horses of all sizes and a club house to relax. The TREC course allows direct access to the forest.

In the absence of these documents, your child will not be able to be welcomed during the stay.
