During your stay
Monday: Your child gets to know their riding instructor. He discovers the equestrian center and is oriented towards ponies or horses adapted to his level.
He observes the behavior of the horse or pony by preparing it delicately. The instructor reminds him of all the safety rules. Selling, bridging, putting on the halter, appreciating the distances, positioning yourself in front of the horse are on the program today.
In the afternoon, he continues his summer school program gently with a land'art workshop with UCPA animators. He will be creative by using natural materials such as shells, green algae, pebbles or even posidonia to become a budding artist.
Tuesday: Today your child will discover how to learn how to trot quickly, how to gallop in aerobatics or through team games.
Bust straightening, lowering your leg and unhooking to learn to sit up are also covered by the instructor.
For the more experienced, they will discover gallop and start jumping. They will also learn to maintain a pace and change it at will.
After lunch, your child will participate in a big Olympiad organized by your animators. Once the teams are formed, he will challenge the other teams through physical or cultural activities.
Wednesday:
Your child practices the flexibility of the lower joints and the opening of the knee to learn to balance. He has the option of choosing his favorite pony/horse.
For intermediate and advanced levels, he will perfect his balance and better manage his pony/horse.
Thursday: Your child learns to manage their efforts and find tips for creating a quality relationship with their pony/horse. The most experienced will improve at the obstacle and more particularly in the sequence of jumps.
Friday: For the last half-day of riding, the instructor will give your child individualized advice in order to make the most of his riding time. The objective is to have fun and to be in action throughout the session.
In the afternoon, your child will be able to rest in the morning before participating in a big treasure hunt. Will he be the first to solve the puzzles and find all the clues to find the treasure?
Your child will ride a pony/horse every day, morning or afternoon, with the aim of maintaining your strength and motivation throughout the week through well-placed breaks, allowing him to have the necessary feedback on his daily practice.
The course of this program is given for information purposes only.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s).
It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.
