Surfing
Surfing
You will surf at the best moment of the tide to make the most of the conditions.
Surfing on Soustons beach
Organization of sessions in groups of levels
For the first levels
The basics of surfing: safety, equipment, spot analysis and launching
First slides near the edge
Get up and ride your first waves
Managing your surfing direction
Optimizing the effort
For more experienced levels
Choose your wave and take it every time you try.
Take a direction in a wave according to its “open” side. Surfing “Back side” and “Front side”.
Keep your wave to the edge by promoting gliding
Better “row” to be effective
Whatever your level
Know how to choose your board
Surfing on the right spot at the best time of the tide
Analyzing the conditions
At the end of the course, you will normally be able to take an unbroken wave of about one meter and keep it to the edge by surfing several tens of meters.
Skateboarding:
You will evolve on a “carver” which is a skateboard coming straight from California, imagined and designed by surfers.
Today there is no better tool to improve your surfing: the posture (stance), the attitude, the gestures and therefore the technique in general is the same. Your skate instructor (who is also a surfer) will always be the link with surfing and will adapt his advice according to your level.
Its objective? Improve your progress in the water by working on sequences on bitumen. The carver has established itself as the essential tool in learning to surf, it makes it possible to erase defects that are sometimes recurrent among beginner and intermediate surfers, it is also used by a good number of professional surfers.
You also have the possibility of practicing “classic” skateboarding if you wish, modules and a mini ramp are accessible during the sessions.
The course of this program is given for information purposes only.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on
technical criteria, safety requirements or conditions
climate of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for supervision
