You develop your technical skills in all key positions, from the smooth running of a sailboat, to the helm
to sail adjustments, from navigation (cartography) to the management of refuelling.
You navigate in a perimeter ranging from Marseille to Saint-Tropez.
In particular, you explore the Port-Cros Natural Park, the Giens peninsula, La Ciotat, and other superb sites and anchorages (Cassis, la Ciotat, Bandol, Bandol, the islands of Hyères, Cavalaire...). You enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere, its lively ports during the summer period.

Low-carbon Come and discover sailing cruising or improve yourself according to your level in the magnificent setting of the French Riviera. The program

Reception at 16:00 on Saturday at the port of La Vieille Darse in Toulon (at the level of the harbor master's office), the boats are located on the R pontoon.
You will recognize the boats thanks to the UCPA flames, the instructor will be there to welcome you.
You can park along the submariners' wharf or on Avenue de l'Infanterie de Marine.
Composition of the crews (7 trainees maximum per boat and the instructor), followed by the preparation of the menus for the week, refueling, safety briefing and departure from the boat.

During your stay
During the week, you learn to sail or improve yourself according to your level.
You thus participate in the maneuvers on board by alternating on the different positions (transfers, gybes, hoisting and adjusting the sails, meteorology, participating in the navigation program and stopovers).

Life on board is organized on a daily basis, so you all participate in preparing meals, cleaning and tidying up the boat together.
Beginners discover the activity of liveable sailing and learn the practical basics and techniques of coastal navigation.
You sail an average of 6 to 8 hours per day (depending on weather conditions), during the day only.
Every day, highlights punctuate sailing times and life on board the sailboat. You thus take advantage of the anchorages in the calanques or isolated coves for lunch and for swimming.
During your cruise, you can stroll through the Port-Cros Maritime and Terrestrial National Park and why not take a walk on the park's underwater trail.
The treasures of the Mediterranean will no longer have any secrets for you!
You can also hike on the wild and preserved Paul Ricard Islands, discover Cap Taillat or explore Porquerolles.
And to end the day in style, it will always be pleasant to exchange your impressions around a sunset aperitif.

It is equipped with 2 to 3 double berths depending on the boat with storage and individual reading light and the possibility of sleeping in the saloon.

Our 35 to 45 foot boats are comfortable liveable sailboats. They were chosen for their technicality and their maneuverability in any circumstance/situation.
So sailing and living on board are a real pleasure.

- A sanitary area with sink and bathroom
- A warm square
- An equipped kitchen
- A card table

All ports are equipped with showers for boaters. The boats have showers to rinse off at the end of the swim. It is advisable to equip yourself with sea soap to have better management of fresh water on board.

The volunteer instructor is qualified by the UCPA Cruise School after a complete and thorough training both technically and pedagogically to best support you in your cruise-sailing experience at UCPA.
