Day 1:
Reception at 10 am in front of the captaincy of the port of Minimes in La Rochelle.
Crew constitution, menu preparation, refueling, safety overview

During your stay

Day 2 to 3:
On the program:
- Navigation from 6 to 8 hours per day on average (depending on weather conditions), during the day only
...
- Raising awareness about the preservation of the marine environment
- Learning to sail and improving according to the level
- Participate in maneuvers on board by alternating on the different positions (transfer, gybing, hoisting and adjusting sails, meteorology) and in the development of menus, the preparation of meals, the cleaning and the storage of the boat
- Excursions, shore walks, swimming and relaxing time
- Stroll around the island of Ré and the island of Aix on foot or by bike (depending on the itinerary and the weather)
- Passage in front of Fort Boyard (depending on the itinerary and the weather)

In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s).
It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.

Debriefing of the stay
Boat storage, cleaning and maintenance.

It is equipped with 2 to 3 double berths depending on the boat with storage and individual reading light and the possibility of sleeping in the saloon.

Equipment Included

Our 35 to 45 foot boats are comfortable liveable sailboats. They were chosen for their technicality and their maneuverability in any circumstance/situation.

So sailing and living on board are a real pleasure.

Interior layout:
- Minimum seven beds (square or cabins) with storage
- A sanitary area with sink and bathroom
- A warm square
- An equipped kitchen
- A card table

Hygiene on board:
All ports are equipped with showers for boaters. The boats have showers to rinse off at the end of the swim.

The port of Minimes in La Rochelle is located 20 minutes by bus from the SNCF train station.
You can take the bus No.

4 Illico during the week (bus No. 43 on Sundays). It is taken 50 m from the train station at the 1st roundabout (stop Plage des Minimes) and head towards the harbor master's office.

You choose carpooling:
From the A10 motorway, take exit 33 (Charente Maritime La Rochelle) and follow the direction Quartier des Minimes and turn towards the harbor master's office (free parking nearby).

Address and access

You are coming by train:
The port of Minimes in La Rochelle is located 20 minutes by bus from the SNCF train station.
You can take the bus No. 4 Illico during the week (bus No. 43 on Sundays). It is taken 50 m from the train station at the 1st roundabout (stop Plage des Minimes) and head towards the harbor master's office.

The refuelling is done at the beginning of the internship.
