Sport' Camp/
This two-week itinerant trek trip is offered by one of our partners for young people aged 14 to 17 who want to follow the GR20 route.
On the program: 14 days of hiking + 1 kayak and/or paddle session + swimming. The ideal opportunity to go on an adventure following the famous GR20 course. An immersive sports stay in the heart of nature where young people will learn to manage their effort and live in a community with their group.
To note: Hiking days include 4 to 8 hours of walking. The stay is organized by a UCPA partner.

Day by day

Day of arrival

Day 1:
Meet at the Saint-Charles train station in Marseille (in front of the reception desk, in the historic hall facing the F/G tracks) and transfer to the port of Marseille (or Toulon).

Night crossing by ferry to Bastia. Appointment times provided in the travel log (more information on 06 22 52 54 04 or 04 93 58 25 67).

During your stay

Day 2:
Reception and pick-up in Bastia upon arrival of the ferry. Transfer to the base camp in Castagniccia.
In the morning, preparatory meeting and swimming in the river.

In the afternoon, departure by minivan to the Costa Verde by the sea. Swimming, water polo and catamaran session.
Back to base camp.
In the evening, lively vigil.

Day 3:
In the morning, transfer by minivan to the Bonifatu forest house.
Departure for the first stage on the GR20.
In the afternoon, swim in the river and arrive at the Carrozzu refuge.
Walking time: 4 hours. Height difference: + 760 m /- 40 m.

Day 4:
In the morning, departure from the Carrozzu refuge for Ascu. Beautiful walking stage with passages climbing on rocky slabs.
In the afternoon, it is possible to swim in a small mountain lake.
Dinner in a shelter and night in a tent.
Walking time: 6:10. Height difference: + 790 m/- 640 m.

Day 5:
In the morning, departure from Ascu Stagnu for the sheepfolds of Vallone.
The longest and most difficult stage with a passage at the foot of the Cintu.
In the afternoon, arrival at the Tighiettu refuge or the Vallone sheepfold.
Dinner in a shelter and night in a tent.
Walking time: 8h. Height difference: + 1200 m/- 1300 m.

Day 6:
In the morning, hike to the Foggiale pass. Then, off trail descent to reach the Radule waterfall. Bathing.
In the afternoon, return to the road crossing the Vergio Pass.
End of the walk around 15:00.
Overnight at the Monte Cintu campsite.
Walking time: 5:30 Height difference: + 898 m/- 1018 m.

Day 7:
Stage of the Col de Vergio and the Manganu refuge.
Easy day in the direction of one of the most beautiful lakes in Corsica, Lake Ninu.
Dinner and night in a refuge or bivouac.
Walking time: 6 hours. Height difference: + 650 m/- 1050 m.

Day 8:
Step from the Manganu refuge to Petra Piana.
On the program: the glacial lakes of Melo and Capitelo.
Dinner in a shelter and night in a tent.
Walking time: 6 hours. Height difference: + 1170 m/- 922 m.

Day 9:
Stage from Petra Piana to Onda.
In the morning, descent into an alder forest with beautiful basins. Bathing possible.
Lunch at the Tolla sheepfold.
In the afternoon, go up to the refuge.
Dinner at the shelter and night in a tent.
Walking time 5 hours. Height difference: + 650 m/- 1000 m.

Day 10:
Stage from L'Onda to Vizzavona.
Transitional and intermediate stage between north and south.
Swim in the river and a long break.
Arrival in Vizzavona around 16:00.
Preparation of dinner together and overnight in a tent.
Walking time: 6:30am. Height difference: + 800 m/- 1200 m.

Day 11:
Stage from Vizzavona to the Capannelle refuge.
Passage in the southern part of the GR20, considered to be more affordable in terms of difficulty.
Dinner in a refuge and night in a cottage.
Walking time: 5:30 Height difference: + 900 m/- 220 m.

Day 12:
Step from the Capannelle refuge to the Prati refuge.
Ascend to Bocca d'Oru (1840 m) and its viewpoint on Monte d'Oro and Monte Renoso.
Dinner in a shelter and night in a tent.
Walking time: 6 hours. Height difference: + 900 m/- 600 m.

Day 13:
Stage from Prati to Uscilu.
Ridge-line course with beautiful landscapes.
Dinner in a shelter and night in a tent.
Walking time: 5:30 Height difference: + 700 m/- 600 m.

Day 14:
Half-day stage from Usciolu to Croce.
Crossing the Coscione plateau with its pozzines, remains of the ice ages.
Dinner and overnight in a shelter or in a tent.
Walking time: 4 hours. Height difference: + 600 m /- 790 m.

Day 15:
Stage from Croce to the Aiguilles de Bavella via the Bocca Stazzunara and alpine variant in the Bavella sector.
Passage of a pass under Monte Incudine.
Descent to the Asinau refuge and ascent to the Aiguilles de Bavella.
Dinner and night in a refuge.
Walking time: 6 hours. Height difference: + 1200 m/- 1200 m.

Day 16:
Last stage between the Aiguilles de Bavella and Conca.
Lunch on the beach.
Transfer to Pruno base camp.
Walking time: 5 hours. Height difference: + 600 m/- 1500 m.
End of the integral GR20.
In the evening, lively vigil.

Day 17:
In the morning, transfer to the seaside. Bathing and lazing around.
Return to the base camp, shower and departure for Bastia around 4pm.
Free time and boarding in the evening to return to the mainland.

Last day

Day 18:
Arrival at the port of Marseille (or Toulon) and transfer to the station for your return trip.
