SPOT
Vexin Français Natural Park
Between unique landscapes and historical heritage
Straddling Val d'Oise and Yvelines, Vexin, a territory created in 1995, is recognized for its natural and architectural heritage, which extends over 71,000 hectares. Vexin owes its classification to the limestone slopes, alluvial plains, wooded hills and protected flora that make up its landscape. The multiplicity of architectural styles of its buildings ends up making it the witness of an ancient and diverse occupation due to its castles, churches and agricultural estates as well as through its crosses, mills and fountains with a more rural aspect.
