During your stay
Monday: You meet the UCPA instructor. You will start by learning your first skills as an apprentice navigator on board your catamaran.
This educational boat allows you to develop fine and technical skills to calmly understand the nautical environment.
In the afternoon, you will marvel at the Mediterranean and tropical marine fauna and flora by visiting the famous 2400m² aquarium in Port Camargue: Seahorses from the Bay of Aigues-Mortes, sharks and turtles rescued by fishermen from Grau du Roi, sea lions and seals and more than 200 other species. More than a visit, it is a memorable immersion with professionals who work for the preservation of the marine environments of the Mediterranean.
Tuesday: that's it you're starting to feel comfortable with your catamaran. The instructor will teach you the marine language but also how to move and turn and how to adjust the sails to gain speed. For the most seasoned, you will try your hand at trapeze navigation to increase the performance of the boat and your sensations.
In the afternoon, a big game is organized by the animators, between goose games and orienteering on the theme of the marine environment and the Camargue.
Wednesday: You will be able to rest in the morning and participate in activities with the animators according to the desires of the group, such as a swim in the sea, games on the beach etc.
In the afternoon your sailing instructor will introduce you to windsurfing (windsurfing). The float and sail specially adapted to all sizes and levels allow you to stand on the board and slide easily. The wide fin helps you counter the current so you can move forward thanks to the force of the wind.
Thursday: Light weather (light wind) is the ideal time to enjoy a Stand-Up Paddle session. Alone or on the giant paddle with several people, you will alternate between walks, games and waterfalls in the water.
After lunch, the animators propose a big photo rally in the marina: a big treasure hunt where photos replace clues. You will have to combine speed and observation to find them. A fun way to become aware of the environment around us.
Friday: Your child feels and understands the pull of the wind on the sail. A second windsurfing session will allow you to feel more comfortable in the transitions and to navigate with ease to enjoy the sensations of gliding.
Finally, to end the week, the multi-sport instructor will introduce you to beach sports on our standard Beach-Volley field: Volley, sandball, tchoukball...
The course of this program is given for information purposes only.
It may undergo modifications or adjustments, depending on technical criteria, safety requirements or the climatic conditions of the moment. In this case, only those responsible for UCPA supervision are authorized to take the necessary decision (s).
It can also be adapted according to the technical and physical level of the participants.
